Full and part-time classes

At present, Grade A Tutoring and Learning Centre offers full time an and part time classes for the Primary Level Student.

Full time classes

At Grade A Tutoring and Learning Centre, we offer full-time classes to primary level students at the primary level. Students receive instructions in small groups (max 12).

Classes are between the hours of 8:30 to 2:00 pm and students are tutored at their own pace. These classes are ideal for students who are having a difficult time with the traditional school system, who are unable to obtain a transfer or are disappointed with the quality of education at their current school. Students at the upper primary level can write the S.E.A. exam as private candidates if they desire or continue to be homeschooled.

Part- time classes

The Centre is opened for weekday sessions from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturdays between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m

We offer the following classes for Primary level students:

1. S.E.A. preparation classes for standards 4 and 5. Here we focus on Math, Language Arts and Creative Writing. Work is also done to reinforce vocabulary and timetables skills.

2. The centre also offers assistance to struggling learners from standards 1-3. We offer assistance in Math, Language Arts, Spelling and Comprehension and much more.

3. Creative Writing classes for standards 3 to 5. This is a specialist Creative Writing class for those who are weak in this area.

4. Reading Classes. This is designed to assist struggling readers between the ages of 5-12.

Our classes work since:

Class sizes are a maximum of 10 students so teacher can still provide individual attention.
It encourages Peer Learning.
It facilitates group problem solving
It is cost effective
